FELONY ARREST IN THE TOWN OF SPRINGWATER

On April 15th, 2026, at approximately 10:56 pm, Deputies responded to a residence in the Town of Springwater for the report of a domestic incident and an Order of Protection that had been violated.
It is alleged through the investigation that 35-year-old Kyle Rodriguez of Springwater had been involved in a physical domestic incident with a female. The female victim also possessed an Order of Protection against Rodriguez, prohibiting such contact. Rodriguez had left the residence prior to Deputies arriving at the residence.
On April 18th, 2026, Deputy Brock Allen arrested Rodriguez and charged him with felony Aggravated Family Offense, felony Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, misdemeanor Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation and Harassment in the Second Degree.
Rodriguez was transported and turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for processing and pre-arraignment detention. He was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part (LC-CAP) at the Livingston County Jail before Town of York Justice Koch. The District Attorney’s Office recommended bail be set in the amount of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. The Judge did remand Rodriguez to the custody of the Sheriff with bail being set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.The Livingston County Public Defender’s Office was present and represented Rodriguez at the court arraignment for his defense. The Livingston County District Attorney’s Office also appeared to represent the People.
Assisting with the investigation for the Sheriff’s Office were members of the Patrol Division and the Criminal Investigations Division. Also assisting was the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
