Records Division

The Records Office staff consists of four full-time employees. Records management at the Livingston County Sheriff's Office is processed and maintained by the Records Division on the New World Aegis Records Management System.

Stephanie Little is a 25 year veteran of the Livingston County Sheriff's office and oversees the Records Division.

The Records Division is responsible for recording, storing, retrieving, disposing, and disseminating records. This includes motor vehicle accidents, cases, traffic tickets, arrests, family court summons, subpoenas, domestic violence reports, DWIs, etc.

FOIL

The Freedom of Information Law (“FOIL”), Article 6 (Sections 84-90) of the NYS Public Officers Law, provides the public right to access to records maintained by government agencies with certain exceptions.

DCJS Record check

The New York State Department of Criminal Justice offers the option to conduct a Criminal Records check within their system, for a fee. For more information, please visit the link below.

Motor Vehicle Accident reports

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office utilize a third party vendor to manage accident reports taken by Livingston County Deputies.  Click below to recieve your copy.

FBI Record check

For a fee, the FBI can provide individuals with an Identity History Summary, often referred to as a criminal history or “rap sheet”—listing certain information taken from fingerprint submissions kept by the FBI and related to arrests and, in some instances, federal employment, naturalization, or military service.

NY Courts Record check
