On April 23rd, 2026 at approximately 6:28 pm, Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Page conducted a traffic stop on Rochester Street in the Village of Lima after he observed a violation of the NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law.
The operator of the vehicle was identified as 42-year-old Christopher Partridge of Groveland. During the initial encounter, the Deputy suspected that there was drug activity in the vehicle and conducted a drug investigation. As a result of the investigation, Partridge was found to be in possession of crack cocaine.
Partridge was arrested and charged with felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree and violations of the NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law. Partridge was transported and turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for processing and pre-arraignment detention. He was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part (LC-CAP) at the Livingston County Jail before Town of York Justice Porter. The Judge did remand Partridge to the custody of the Sheriff without the possibility of bail due to him having two or more prior felony convictions.
The Livingston County Public Defender’s Office was present and represented Partridge at the court arraignment for his defense. The Livingston County District Attorney’s Office was notified and also appeared to represent the People.
