COMMUNITY POLICING
ABOUT US
The community policing unit consists of three, full-time Deputies. These positions are federally grant-funded through the federal COPS grant program.
THE MISSION
The community policing unit strives to create partnerships between law enforcement and community members. The unit focuses on prevention, community interaction, improving trust, officer wellness, and recruitment and retention.

From March to December 2024, the Community Policing unit coordinated over 80 community events, delivered 288 social media interactions, assisted in recruitment and retention, along with many other duties.
