FELONY ARREST IN THE TOWN OF CONESUS

On May 24th, 2026, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence on Mission Road in the Town of Conesus for the report of a larceny of a motor vehicle.
Sheriff’s Deputies began an investigation into the Grand Larceny and through the investigation the suspect was identified as 41-year-old Shannon St. John from the Town of Conesus. On May 25th, 2026, Deputy Mark Lorenzetti arrested St. John and charged her with felony Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree.
St. John was transported and turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for arrest processing and pre-arraignment detention. St. John was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part (LC-CAP) at the Livingston County Jail before Town of Groveland Justice Bean. The Judge did release St. John on her own recognizance as the offense does not qualify for bail under the NYS Bail Reform Act.
The Livingston County Public Defender’s Office was present and represented St. John at the court arraignment for her defense. The Livingston County District Attorney’s Office was also present to represent the People.
