DRUG TASK FORCE ARREST IN THE TOWN OF AVON
On September 24th, 2026 members of the Livingston County Drug Task Force and Livingston County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robert Ivey and Hughwanna Davis following a drug investigation in the Town of Avon.
Robert Ivey, age 36 from Rochester NY, was arrested by members of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office. Ivey and was charged with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (class B felonies), four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (class B felonies), one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree (class C felony), and one count of Conspiracy in the Fourth Degree (class E felony).
Hughwanna Davis, age 45 from Rochester NY, was arrested by members of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office. Davis was charged with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (class B felonies), two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (class B felonies), one count of Conspiracy in the Fourth Degree (class E felony), one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (class C felony), one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree (class E felony), one count of Criminal Possession of a Firearm (class E felony), and one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree (class E felony).
Davis was additionally charged with multiple weapon offenses after the arresting deputies located a stolen Glock pistol and a pair of metal knuckle knives on her person while she was being taken into custody.
The defendants were turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for processing and pre-arraignment detention. The defendants were later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part (LC-CAP) at the Livingston County Jail before Town of York Justice Porter. The Judge did remand Davis into the Custody of the Sheriff on $20,000 cash / credit or $100,000 secured bond. The Judge also remanded Ivey into the Custody of the Sheriff without the possibility of bail, due to his previous felony convictions.
The Livingston County Public Defender’s Office was present and represented both defendants at the court arraignment for their defense. The Livingston County District Attorney’s Office was notified and did appear to represent the People.
