On March 26th, 2026 at approximately 8:19 am, Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the Town of Leicester for the report of a domestic incident that had taken place in a vehicle. Deputies arrived on scene and met with the victim who advised that she had been in a verbal argument with the suspect, identified as 39-year-old Johnathan Fuhrman. During the argument, it is alleged that Fuhrman intentionally caused damage to the vehicle by breaking the windshield.Â

Fuhrman was transported and turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for arrest processing and pre-arraignment detention. Fuhrman was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part (LC-CAP) at the Livingston County Jail before Village of Geneseo Justice Bushnell. The Judge did release Fuhrman on his own recognizance as the offense does not qualify for bail under the NYS Bail Reform Act.
The Livingston County Public Defender’s Office was present and represented Fuhrman at the court arraignment for his defense. The Livingston County District Attorney’s Office was also present to represent the People.Â
