On June 10th, 2026 at approximately 9:35 pm, Deputy Hayden Strobel was assigned to the Sheriff’s Office STOP DWI Unit when he conducted a traffic stop on Pebble Beach Road after observing a violation of the NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law. The Deputy made contact with the operator of the vehicle who was identified as 60-year-old Bryan Mailloux of Livonia, NY.Â
During the initial encounter with Mailloux, Deputy Strobel suspected that he was possibly under the influence of alcohol. A roadside DWI investigation was conducted, which included the performance of standardized field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the roadside investigation, Mailloux was taken into custody for DWI.
Mailloux was offered a breathalyzer test to determine his blood alcohol content (BAC) and Mailloux did refuse to submit to a chemical breath test.
A records check revealed that Mailloux did have a prior conviction for DWI in May of 2026, making this arrest a felony.
Mailloux was charged with felony Driving While Intoxicated and violations of the NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law.
Mailloux was transported and turned over to Central Booking Deputies at the Livingston County Jail for arrest processing and pre-arraignment detention. Mailloux was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part (LC-CAP) at the Livingston County Jail before Town of Nunda Justice Morris. The Judge did release Mailloux on his own recognizance as the offenses do not qualify for bail under the NYS Bail Reform Act.
The Livingston County Public Defender’s Office was present and represented Mailloux at the court arraignment for his defense. The Livingston County District Attorney’s Office was also present to represent the People. Â
